Some stone can be used for various purposes. Most decorative stone products are also suitable for drainage purposes since they are generally clean, uniform sized stone with no fines in them which allows water to move thru them freely. Generally, the lower the number of the stone the smaller the size and the higher the number of the stone the larger the size.
